Kinesiologists assess and treat movement dysfunctions and injuries using active strategies. Areas of focus include health and fitness, exercise programming, performance enhancement assessments and injury rehabilitation. Within my sessions, I utilize multiple types of modalities to help you best, which include:
FRC is a system designed to achieve optimal joint health by gaining and maintaining functional mobility, strength and control.
Cupping is a technique that uses silicone cups to create a suction over the skin which opens up the layers beneath to promote healing. Benefits include pain mitigation, flexibility and mobility enhancement, sensorimotor retraining, fundamental movement training, nerve entrapment relief and scar manipulations.
Different types of tape used to help aid in recovery and healing and support the injured tissue.
In British Columbia, ICBC will automatically grant you 12 sessions with a Kinesiologist within the first 12 weeks. If you are past the 12 weeks, come in for an assessment and we can see if you qualify for approved sessions.
